TW Sports.Org Fun Weeks are unique. Not only do boys & girls receive quality coaching from our experienced team they have special theme days. This offers the children something to do in the afternoon when they go home. They have to plan & organise their theme for the next day. Read on to see what happens at a TW Sports.Org Fun Week!
The Fun Week got of to a great start with 5 hours of sun & fun! The topics today were dribbling & skill challenge. The boys & girls had great fun perfecting their Zidane turns & Ronaldo step overs! They also played loads of Mini Soccer World Cups. The theme of the day was World Cup face paint day.
The topics today were passing & control. The group practiced passing the ball using their left foot & right foot. They also learnt how to control a ball. It was World Cup theme day. The children all picked a country from the World Cup & dressed like a local! Can you guess what countries the boys are from in the picture below?
The topics today were control & shooting. The group were shown the correct technique to strike the ball using their left foot & right foot. The Mini Soccer World Cups produced some highly entertaining games & some great goals! It was tee shirt design day. The children all worked hard on their designs & produced lovely tee shirts.
The topics today were shooting, possession & attacking movements. The group performed 3 v 1 support play. We developed this into a match scenario. We concentrated on support play, width in attack - including overlapping runs & movement in the box. The children then used these skills in the Mini Soccer World Cups. It was crazy hair day. Plenty tubs of gel were used & many hours in the mirror I'm sure! I hear Brylcreem are offering some of the kids a sponsorship deal!!
The final day of our Fun Week! The children took part in some of their favourite coaching sessions of the week. We operated several Mini Soccer World Cup's which were all full of goals! The week was topped of with our Parents & Presentation Day. The pictures below show the winners of 'Most Promising Player', 'Most Improved Player' & 'Member of the Week' in both age groups.
